HSD coilovers, manufactured in Korea, offer outstanding performance at extremely competitive prices. With vast experience producing coilovers for Japanese OEM clients, HSD’s own brand offers the same quality of design and components as the most expensive brands on the market. This is backed up by a 12-month warranty against any manufacturing defect.

TT Series $1399 - $1499

The new TT type coilovers from HSD have been designed with every-day driving comfort as a priority. They use a twin-tube damper design (hence ‘TT’) which is less aggressive than the large-diameter mono-tube type dampers in the HR series. Spring rates are also generally 20-30% softer than the race-oriented HR series. In most cases the top mounting plate features a rubber bushing to reduce noise and harshness, but for strut replacements a camber-adjustable pillow-ball top is used for a larger range of camber adjustment.

Like the HR series the new TT uses an adjustable base bracket for easy height adjustment. The dampers also feature a 12-step adjuster for damping force. For a low-key appearance the aluminium lock rings and top plates are anodised grey, with black springs and brackets. The spring rates listed are our standard specifications. Alternative springs are available to order.

HR Series $1599 - $1699

HR type coilovers have established a strong reputation in drifting and time attack competition in Australia. Offering design specifications far more advanced than one would expect at this price point, the HR type is all about performance. A large-diameter mono-tube type damper features a 44mm internal piston size and 15-step damping adjustment. In strut replacements the damper is inverted for greater strength and reduced unsprung weight. All models feature high-grade pillow-ball top mounts, which are camber-adjustable on strut-type models. Height is adjusted with a movable base bracket, so the spring seat only needs to be adjusted to keep the spring captive. Our spring rates are chosen to provide great performance on the track with reasonable on-road compliance.

HT Series $2399 - $2449

New for 2007, the HT series is designed specifically for race use. Featuring a remote reservoir for all four dampers, control is improved even under sustained, high-load use. Effectively doubling the volume of oil in each damper, the remote reservoir system also improves cooling and allows the HT dampers to have separate bump and rebound adjustment. There are four ‘coarse’ steps of bump adjustment, with 12 steps of finer adjustment effectively offering 48 steps of bump adjustment. Rebound adjustment also has 16 steps to choose from, with up to 5000N of damping force available.
To minimise unsprung weight, the HT series also offers a full aluminium damper casing and aluminium lower bracket. Naturally all HT models feature pillow-ball top mounts front and rear, with camber adjustment on strut suspension models. Coilovers offering this level of sophistication normally retail for more than double the recommended retail of our HT type.

New from HSD, these all-purpose sleeve kits are the easiest way to convert your struts into height-adjustable coilovers. They are ideal for older cars or more unusual models where no off-the-shelf coilovers are available.

Available in 48mm and 51mm internal diameter, the weld-on sleeves are anodised steel.

Each kit includes two sleeves, two spring seats, two lock nuts, two main springs, two tender springs and an upper spring locator. You can choose between 4kg/mm and 5kg/mm (224lb and 280lb) springs.

HSD Sleeve kits are great value. Most similar kits on the market do not include springs or tender springs.
